At TruGrinder, Raw represents the period of anything or anyone on the verge of transformation—a pretty, ugly, and sometimes uncomfortable space.

Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly.

Rather than forcing change, we explore the idea of evolution.

  • Change is forced upon our lives when growth has been stalled.
  • Evolution brings about meaningful differences, allowing us to guide and shape our own narratives.
  • Change implies something is wrong and requires work.
  • Evolution is least resistant when daily growth naturally takes place.

There is a term I like to use when life decides to take a complete 180:

"Phases of Life"

This highlights the undeniable truth that life has a tendency to pivot unexpectedly.

Reminds me in which children often go through phases, immersing themselves in the latest cartoons or movie trends as they grow.

Some phases may be noticeable as they unfold before us, while others may quietly occur under the surface, evading our immediate attention.

Change, as we all know, is an inescapable part of life.

We find ourselves confronted with certain changes in circumstances and the choices we must make.

However, true growth or Evolution is not a mere product of these external changes, but rather a deliberate and conscious decision on our part.

Going through these transitional periods can be difficult, but It's an important part of our personal development.

Just as physical beauty captivates our attention, the appeal of mental, emotional, and spiritual evolution is equally compelling.

By embracing the discomfort and challenges that accompany these phases, we can build the metaphorical "muscles" necessary for our growth, fulfilling the potential that resides within each and every one of us.

How do I readily accept and embrace these changes as they unfold?

Compare your mindset to a piece of clay or a child's play-doh.

Every morning I wake up, my piece of clay (growth mindset) is Raw, fresh, clean and ready to be molded into what I want it to be.

Except, my piece of clay never hardens, which symbolizes (fixed mindset) accepting what happens to me without putting up a fight.

So I suggest continuously shaping your piece of clay whether you mold it into your ideal piece or not.
